The last time I looked it costs over $70,000 to put enough solar on my house
(and I live in SC) to get off the grid. I don't see me driving a solar,
wind, or tidal car to work every day. As far as "safer" nuclear - exactly
how many people have died in the 100 or so nuclear power plants in the USA
in the past 200 years? Nuclear power and electric cars are the ticket to
energy independence. Anyone who thinks differently needs to open their
minds. It will be nice when people finally wake up to the reality that this
is the solution to everything. I'm not exactly sure why the tree huggers
support coal fire power plants and not nuclear energy. Was it that Jane
Fonda movie? Insane!
