Raising taxes (you can insert the party) is the one status quo that hits home the fastest and I believe damages capitalism the greatest. Why work if Sam (not our Sam[s}) will pay you not to? That and something about SS should remain a contributory fund and not a welfare perk. One more... exactly how is it that (you insert the party) plans to balance the budget if all the money saved by "bringing home the troops" is re-routed to socialist programs? I fear greatly that the budget increase to fight this war is being "assumed" as a continuing source of revenue by both candidates. Okay... time to put air in my tires or something miatapower"ish." :)
