The car
1992 1.6 engine/JR supercharger running 6 psi/Pierburg Pump/BEGI AFPR (old style) car has 150,000 miles on it and the Sebring system has been on it for about 35k. The problem is that I don't develop enough fuel pressure. Was running about 75-80 psi in the past. Now I can't get more than 65 and it doesn't hold that. No WB but the NB unit never shows the A/F going full rich anymore. Changed the fuel filter. Made sure the Pierburg is running. Could the tank pump be bad and the Pierburg isn't capable of overcoming the load of a bad tank pump?? Or could the problem just be the AFPR?? I turned the adjustment screw a little and got no real difference in the pressures. I hate to mess with the setting on it since the car was running well and the thing is a PITA to adjust.
