You can take the dimentions to a compressor dealer, bore ring height oil
control height, easy just to take the piston in.

I had no problem finding mine at a local compressor shop nowhers near your
location. I don't know what you have but it was all too easy last time I
tried.

My bore was worn on mine, so ring end gap was an issue on my ancient unit, a
lot better but not optimal.

I would take good bore measuments to go with it, to be able to optiomize the
endgap.

Subject: NMC - Air Compressor rings?

Just picked up a used 5hp 60 gal upright compressor, circa 1987. It's an
Energair 1 model EA5E6VA and compressor has 3EN52823 stamped on it. Local
Ingersoll-Rand dealer has checked and factory service parts aren't
available. Compressor works ok for impact/ratchet, but has blowby that gets
worse when it's run a long time (for blasting, etc), so I am thinking rings
are in order.

Anyone have a piston ring place that might have something for it?? Doing
some online searches, but not coming up with much yet. Leads appreciated!
