60-63psi is normal once the oil's warmed up.  Quit being like me, Wally...it's
not good for your health!

So, changed out from the Rotella T 20w50 to Valvoline synth 10w30.. same
pressures globally. Go figure. Saw 60-63psi on track all day, and it was a
scorcher for here, around 90*. Took the gauge off the car, hooked it to the
regulator on the air compressor and it reads the same as the air compressor
gauge, so confident the mechanical gauge reads accurately.

So, got great pressure, and running 20w50 vs 10w30 made no change.. odd, but
whatever. :) Track day went well, except for a corner worker telling me I have
a small puff of smoke occasionally from under the car. Found the front fender
liners both rubbed, so perhaps it was just that.. no oil usage or leakage, so
no other ideas. Replacement tranny and rear ends worked very well, extremely
pleased to be driving the car again! :)
