In my opinion a transfer switch is the only safe way to go, I'm sure your utility company would agree. The don't like having linemen electrocuted because someone was backfeeding their home through a dryer outlet and forgot to to turn off the main breaker when running from a generator in a power outage. The thought of live male connector pins on the cable feeding your 220v outlet also seems so wrong. _______________________________________________ Miatapower mailing list [email protected] http://list.miatapower.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/miatapower
