Totally agree with 1.

Just wanted to add that the longer the breaker bar, the more leverage
you got ... and this equals to much less cussin as you break those bolts
loose. Totally worth the $20 or so for that long breaker bar. :-)

If using an impact gun, crank the pressure up as high as it goes, and
give er. Personally prefer the breaker bar method for this tho. And
yes, 1\2" all the way!! :-)

1. Lots of Liquid Wrench/PB Blaster, bang on it a bit with a hammer and
let it sit overnight.

2. Get a 1/2 inch breaker bar and 1/2 inch socket. Don't mess with 3/8
with that kind of force.

3. Get a stronger 1/2 inch Impact Wrench.

hi,

the PowerPlantFrame PPF is secured, (on the rear) , with 2 17mm bolts.
the forward one is stuck. i started with a 3/8 ratchet, went to an air
ratchet, 1/2 air gun, 3/8 ratchet w/ a 8' black pipe extention, (this
worked quite well at snapping the socket :). if i had a 3/8 to 1/2
adapter i would use that with the 3/8 ratchet and pipe but i do not have
one...suggestions?
