Can any one tell me what I should be looking at to test the TPS on a 97? I haven't been able to find any thing all that helpful in my books so far. I know there are 2 versions of it for the NAs one is an on/off type and the other is more analogue.
I am betting the 97 would have the analogue type right? If so what numbers should I see for resistance and what pins should I be checking on. The book I have says 1k ohm at WOT and > 5k ohm at closed throttle. But it also has 2 sections that say "for 93 and earlier..." right next to each other. I am trying to track down a lean running problem and haven't come up with much yet. I am going to try the propane thing to check for vacuum leaks this weekend.
