Jerry,
I'm sorry you had problems with the superpros. Depending on individual
car tolerances we find sometimes we have to take the individual bushings
to a belt sander to get a perfect fit. IOW, don't touch the metal tube,
but take a couple thou off the end of the bushing to take some of the
end pre-load out.

I am looking for driving impressions from anyone who has
installed the Super Pro Bushing kit on their Miata.

The bushings on my car are worn out, and I am looking for
replacements. I believe I can get stock bushings for close to the same
price via Mazdaspeed. While I auto cross this car once to twice monthly,
I also drive the snot out of it for work and pleasure. So it needs to
have somewhat civilized road manners. Currently I have ground control
springs and coil overs combined with 8 way adjustable AGXs. The car is
sitting pretty low, and I have the FM rear shock extenders.

This combination of sitting low, questionable quality AGXs
shocks, and minimal shock travel results in an already somewhat rough
ride, so if these bushings will add to this characteristic noticeably, I
may go with the stock bushings.

If you have these bushings on your car, let me know what you
think.

        Thanks...Steve

I put SuperPros on my car and it was a big mistake. I bought them from
FM, a very reliable and good source for parts and advice, but the [EMAIL
PROTECTED]
*&%!R^*! bushings didn't fit! They were made too big, so when I finally
had them on the car (after two days of the slipperiest, gooiest work
Imaginable), the were binding everywhere, making it impossible to get a
decent alignment, and the ride was a complete disaster since the
suspension no longer moved up and down without considerable force.
I will NEVER use SuperPro again thanks to that debacle!
On the plus side, after drilling holes in the A arms and adding zerk
fittings, I've been able to keep them greased enough so that the
suspension works a little better, but very soon I'm going to trash all
of the
A-arms and replace them with new ones, which come with stock bushings
already installed.
Now, it is possible that I received a bad batch of SuperPros, but I'm
definitely NOT willing to "give them another chance" because they're too
expensive, it takes too much time to install them, and there is NO
recourse or restitution available that makes it worth the trouble.
Go Mazdaspeed performance if you want harder bushings. You know they'll
fit, and the additional cash spent will be WELL Worth It! Personnaly, as
mentioned above, I think stock bushings are the smartest move.
