Is it possible for the pump bearings to fail and the seals to still work? There is a rickety noise and the pulley on the water pump seems to be wobbling while the engine idles. There is no leaking. The noise isn't noticeable on the highway but sounds horrible while idling.
It should be easier to change it since I rerouted the coolant system and put the T-stat housing on the back of the head. Anyone have any similar experiences with the noises? Jeff
