Also check inside the boot on the slave cyl. Fluid could perhaps leak out of the cyl and into the boot, but not show up on the ground. Jim in Tucson In a message dated 11/13/2008 1:34:12 P.M. US Mountain Standard Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes:
A couple of people wrote me off list so I will kind of reply here (might help someone else later). I took a look in the cabin earlier (and felt around a bit for wetness) but didn't think to look under the carpet. The design of the master looks like it would be more apt to leak into the cabin than in the engine bay. I'll look a little closer when I get the chance. Thanks! *****Take a look under the carpet where the master cylinder pushrod goes through the fire wall. I have had them leak there on other cars.***** -- Robert McElwee and Blue Flash "The 50 MPG Miata" _www.lightweightmiata.com/mpg_ (http://www.lightweightmiata.com/mpg) Lightweight Miata Forum: _www.lightweightmiata.com/forum_ (http://www.lightweightmiata.com/forum) The Miata Trailer Project: _www.lightweightmiata.com/trailer_ (http://www.lightweightmiata.com/trailer) _______________________________________________ Miatapower mailing list [email protected] http://list.miatapower.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/miatapower **************Get the Moviefone Toolbar.
