If you measure the underside of the chassis, you'll discover that the 1/2"
"rake" really isn't a rake at all. It's an artifact of the fender design.

If you lift the rear, you'll bias the car more towards oversteer/away from
understeer.

Subject: Suspension Rake effects

I am getting ready to do some major suspension overhauls on my 96 M-edition.
Most folks have a higher lift on the rear than the back(rake). I have always
had my car even front to back. About 12.25 inches wheel center to wheel arch.

Is there any difference in handling with a rake versus no rake for autocross?

Thanks

Steve
