I deal with Tommy Grimes at Finishline/Rosenthal. He is the best parts guy
I've ever dealt with and the prices and service is good.

Subject: OEM Parts Source recommendation

I haven't had need to buy OEM parts in a while, and I've just
discovered that Marshall is no longer in the parts department of
Trussville Mazda. Apparently, he's been gone for some time.

Since Trussville was my #1 source for OEM parts and I really relied on
Marshall's knowledge and experience, with him not there, I have to
reassess my choice of OEM suppliers.

So,

Is Trussville still just as good in quality, service and price as it
used to be?

Got any other "awesome parts guys" at some other OEM parts source?

I have a sudden timing belt / water pump job, and I need to get
quality parts that are going to LAST but price is also important.

I often use NAPA for other cars, but I've always used OEM for the
timing belt parts.

Have you guys that user NAPA -- can you attest to the quality of the
water pumps? As long as I get a Gates timing belt, I'm cool with that.

I trust NAPA reasonably well, so I'm considering that option.

Please comment.
