Monday was one of the luckiest days of my life - actually the luckiest day for all of my family since they were all in the driveway within an hour of this:
http://s277.photobucket.com/albums/kk68/fe3mx5/tree/?albumview=slideshow Here's a timeline leading up to the "fall": * My parents, Juliette, me and the kids were in the driveway about 50 minutes before the tree fell. * I returned from the daycare in the Lexus about 30 minutes before the tree fell. * My sister and her husband were loading the truck about 10 minutes before the tree fell * At five minutes before, my sister returned to the house while her husband decided to stay in the truck to set up the gps * At four minutes and fifty eight seconds he changed his mind and came into the house behind my sister * We were just about to head downstairs and out to the truck, but I couldn't find my glasses * We were looking for them and the tree fell while we were in the kitchen yowza I cut the windshield off the Miata so I could get my hands on the steering wheel. It started right up and ran like nothing ever happened. I drove it up the driveway and parked it under the deck.
