dark current. isn't that the mysterious matter that makes up 90% of
the car industry, yet cannot be seen or measured?

anyway, odyssey batteries are often used in experminetal (and I think
certified) aircraft. they're terrific. just do NOT exceed 15.0v when
charging, according to them, or you'll pop the vent caps. I cant find a
charger that will do that. they also need 10amps to charge and a
trickle charge can actually damage them. but not a float charge. if you
follow the docs, its a tight, high performance battery with high amps
availability.

I've had a PC680 in my Caterham for a little over two years now. It
recently sat for 5 months without being started or charged and still
fired up the engine with no problem. The car does have a battery cutout
switch so there was no dark current drawing on the battery. I'd buy
another.

I'm looking for an update on your experience using Odyssey or Braille
batteries.

Any problems? Any mysterious low voltage episodes? Everything good
about these batteries, and would you purchase either one again?

Thanks,
