All,
One annoying "feature" of my car when I got it was that the PO had
drilled the trunk for a subwoofer but of course hadn't put anything on
the affected areas to prevent rust. Naturally, I've got some surface
rust in a couple spots, including some screw holes. I'm not really
worried about looks, but I don't want the thing to rust out on me! Any
thoughts on what I can do DIY to clean it up? I took some pictures of the area
which can be seen here.
Honestly, though, I may need to farm the job out to get the rust treated and
the holes filled. Does anyone have a shop that they would recommend?
