This was actually pretty funny. Many, many years ago when I was working
out of our house the local cops stopped a guy in the park across the
street and frisked him looking for drugs. Apparently he told the cops
they should be looking at "the guy across the street" (me!), because UPS
came every day and these expensive looking little sports cars were
always coming and going.
Teri found out about this a few months later when she was at a meeting
between cops from different jurisdictions. She was introduced to one of
the local Palisade cops and he started blushing. He said "Do you live on
Main St with all the Miatas?" and when she said yes, he told her the
story and how they had followed up on it only to find she was the HR
manager for the sheriff's dept.
Of course many jokes followed on the forums about our "powder coating",
"speed parts", etc ;-)

IIRC it had to do with FM dealing in speed and LSD.
Of course I have bought plenty of speed parts from them, which indeed
made me go faster, but my car came OEM with LSD, so I can't honestly say
I ever bought LSD from them.
