I have a 92 Miata that is my dedicated track car.
I bought the FM HD sway bar mounts to install along with a Racing Beat hollow front sway bar. Question 1: I found out I need to reroute my power steering lines going to the cooler in order to install the HD mounts. Is there a preferred way to do this? Ie hard line vs hose. Through the mount vs around the mount? Question 2: I bought the 1.8 bar because I wanted the option to install a 1.8 in the future. The FM website says the mounts will accommodate either bar. (By this I understood the 1.8 bar would sit further from the engine). But, it looks like the original bar and the RB bar mount in the same place on the HD mounts. Will this work or will the links be at a bad angle? I want to make the installation 100% reliable. Any input from those that have been through this is greatly appreciated. Thanks! Luis
