Amen. The implication earlier from one poster is that homophobic comments are just fine at weekends and if the list is quiet. So I guess the list needs a designated "it's ok to be racist' day too ? That was NOT the intent of the comment, I am sure. The point was that if there is NO car talk, and folks want to discuss something else, there is no harm in doing so. One would HOPE that there are no homophobes or racists on the list. However, people have their opinions and sometimes express them, even though they may be highly unpopular. If you have no interest in non-car chat, just delete the offending or boring Email. It's perfectly acceptable to delete unwanted Email. No one is required to respond. You ALL know how useful this list has been to the majority of us over the years. One weekend of non-car discussion cannot erase the value we've all gained from list membership. Personally, I find it remarkable that so many would get upset over the discussions that were held Saturday and Sunday, especially considering how often we get useful car info from the lest membership. I would not unsuscribe; I find this list most useful, and when something arrives in my Email inbox for which I have no interest or no response, I simply delete it. Try it. It's Easy!
