And let's not forget the '02 Vivid (said the owner of one of only 239).
Even then, I think the only one that may one day be worth a lot would be the one '91 Sunburst. The ones the public couldn't buy would qualify too (Mazda show cars: Club Racer, Monoposto, etc.). ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Monday, November 09, 2009 4:55 AM To: [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: NPC Re: Keep those Miata's prestine!!! NPC I'm all for keeping Miatas pristine and they may become an "affordable collectible" but don't confuse that with being worth a lot. There are just too many and all shared essentially the same drivetrain. Some of the more sought after models, like the BRG, early VIN, 92 yellow, 93 LE, 95M, 97R, 97 STO may command up to a 50% premium someday but the general population will not be worth a huge amount of money. A refreshed driver MGB was worth $4500 in 1985, it was worth $4500 in 1995 and was worth $4500 in 2005. Randy >> "affordable collectible by, say, 2025"
