Only you can answer that. ;-) I've got an MS1 v3 sitting on the shelf  
that I paid $150 for assembled and I won't be ditching that. If you're  
ready to install the MS now, then you should because there's still a  
lot to do with FreeEMS. Most of those involved are planning to run it  
parallel to a current ecu for testing. I just figured I'd pass it on  
since the Volvo was actually running on FreeEMS fuel control. The only  
thing I had to tune on was flipping the switch over to OE fuel control  
and seeing how the car ran. "Success" was expected so soon, so there  
weren't provisions set up for tuning. But hey, went with it.
