I did a compression test on my 96 Miata, and was hoping I could get your take
on the results.
This engine has 20 over 9:1 Wiseco pistons.
Dry, warmed up:
1 - 175 2 - 175 3 - 175 4 - 165
1 teaspoon oil in each cylinder, repeat compression test:
1 - 205 2 - 210 3 - 190 4 - 200
I am did this test because I am using a lot of oil. All spark plugs look great
except #4 which has clumpy build up.
Any opinions on what ails this motor?/ What I should look for?
