as to my top, fwiw. i have a top called EZ-On I think. its a glass window top. the zipper has been partly torn loose for a while and there is one small tear that doesnt seem to be getting any worse. its like 7 years old. fwiw
but who the hell knows if the EZ On top is the same one today as 7 years ago. could be different vinyl, diff zipper, thread, you name it.

According to review I've read, all makes of convertible tops seem to be hit or miss. Some hold up, some don't, from the same makers and within the same model lines. My Stayfast Glass window Robbins top has suffered considerable since I've had to park the car in the sun, despite anti-UV rain repellant spray. It was a great top new, but after 4 years (I think, may be 5), it's quite worn. I have a Harddog M2 Sport (no diagonals) and the big Robbins glass window fits.
