This may sound to simple, but have you tried replacing the fuel filter? I'd try that before doing anything else, but you may need a new fuel pump or have an FPR issue. In a message dated 8/6/2010 3:19:33 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, [email protected] writes:
OK, it's a fuel issue. Jeremy at FM said I'd see 35psi at idle (I did) and 45 psi with the vac source disconnected from the FPR (I did). He also said that in boost there'd be a 1:1 ratio between boost pressure and additional fuel pressure, so at 12 psi I should see 57 psi of fuel pressure. Not even close. In fact, in boost, it got to maybe 48 and then fell to the low 30's and then the car (surprisingly) ran like crap. Here's the weird part- the behavior was far more pronounced on hard left-hand turns and sometimes un-noticeable on similar turns to the right. Anyone ever have the power or ground to the FP crap out?
