Assumed you guys didn't do it because it was added complexity for very little gains. I had the same sort of issues on the RX7, never liked how tight it was with the 90s.. it worked fine, but wasn't a fan of the look... looked liek you put the wrong motor in there. :)

We just use hoses with formed 90s at the firewall, but taking the time to do the copper will make things very neat.
