I think I would be looking for the signal grounds those signals have in
common.

Subject: Link sensor readings erratic

I've been having a problem with my Link (an Obiwan installed in a 95 NA
with a Boomslang adapter harness) for a while now. None of the readings
on the keypad are very stable. It started out with the water temperature
jumping 6 degrees several times per second (88,90,92,90,92,88,90,94,88,
etc) and now the rest of the sensors are following. I initially thought
this was just a bubble around my water temp sensor, but when ATM started
doing the same jump, I thought I'd send an email. Yeah, atmospheric.
Just sitting on my driveway ATM jumps from 81 to 86 and back a couple of
times per second (I live at 5500' in Albuquerque). That doesn't seem
right.

MAP is also quite jumpy. As a result of the MAP being unstable, I drive
along in T mode most of the time. Sometimes, it'll settle down to a 1
kpa fluctuation and I can get L3 numbers on my keypad. But most of the
time, I get rapid 3-5 kpa jumps while cruising with a very steady foot.
That puts me in T mode.

Suggestions anyone? It seems like a problem with the Link itself.
Perhaps there's a capacitor on the board somewhere that likes to give
out? My ribbon cable is in good shape and I never get garbage characters
on the keypad. The car itself never cuts out. I'm just getting very
rapid fluctuations on the sensors. The only sensor that seems to give a
steady reading is the air temp probe.

Thanks,

Adam
