I'm having my speedometer sending unit on my transmission replaced and
a leak in the transmission fixed. We thought it was leaking at the rear
seal, but when we got the factory butterfly brace out of the way so we
could see the side of the xmission you can see that the oil is coming
down from the shifter area.
What is there that would be the likely source of that leak? Likely
solutions?
We're hopeful it can be tightened up without dropping the xmission.
Thoughts?
