I believe that the lock assembly is held in place with bolts which shear the
heads off when you torque them in place.

 

To remove them, you either have to drill them out, or slot what's left of
the stub and turn them out with a flat blade screwdriver.

I'm attempting to remove the ignition cylinder/lock from the steering column
and can not figure it out.  

 

I've removed GM/Chevy/Jeep ignition locks/cylinders before, but the Miata is
kicking my butt.  

 

Tried searching past threads and didn't turn up any results.  

I'm parting out my 95 PEP and I need the entire locks/keys set for a fellow
Miata Nut.   

Can anyone offer any advice and where to begin?
