I was an English major in college. I can't help it. And this week, so far, it's four, if you count McMahon. You knew Farrah wasn't going to make it much longer, and McMahon was getting on and having some troubles lately. Sky Saxon...well I wasn't even aware that he'd taken sick.
But, Michael Jackson... All and all, not too surprising, but a shocker nonetheless. Gearing up for a series of 50 shows, most of which are sold out. The promoters are screwed! I can't even imagine the cost of the ticket refunds. No more opening night jitters, or bad reviews. And then, his legacy. He'll certainly be remembered for his music, and rightly so! When he was a little kid singing, he had so much soul, and such a voice, I prefer his Jackson 5 stuff over his solo stuff. But there's always going to be that circus freak atmosphere thing that's surrounded him since the early 80s - the face jobs, the skin jobs, the sleeping chamber, the surrogate "wife," the kids at Neverland. Pretty freaky. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Diamond Headz" group.
