I had a few beers with John when I met him in London on the eve of the final ever Uk Pet Sounds live shows about 4 years back. He was being totally ignored by the Bird who was doing her rounds chating to anyone who would tolerate her. John came across as a decent guiy and very good company. He had a real insight into BW's music and 60s stuff in general. I haven't a clue what has happened to him since. probably pleased he survived with his sanity intact?
