After he re-negotiated the Beatles contract with EMI/Capitol, the Beatles began to get an UNHEARD OF royalty per LP.....more than any act up until that time. And sadly, the UNHEARD OF amount per was about 9 cents out of the $5 list price (slightly under 2%). And the other 98+ % goes to the business.....even for the Beatles.
