Don't know if any of you remember, but a number of years ago someone
on the Internet claimed that the movie The Wizard Of Oz and the album
The Dark Side Of The Moon went together. The story was that if you
started the album at the second roar of the MGM lion at the movie's
intro, the movie and music would flow together. At the time, I tried
it and was a bit intrigued that the two did seem to work together.
Well, I got to thinking about that again the other day, so I tried it
again last night. Surprisingly, it worked really well.

Speak To Me/Breathe In The Air plays through the credits and the
opening of the movie. On The Run begins just as Dorothy falls into
the hog pen, and the clock bells and chimes of Time accompany Miss
Gulch on her bike as she arrives at the Gale house to take Toto. The
Great Gig In The Sky plays during Dorothy's meeting with Professor
Marvel and the twister sequence. Money starts just as Dorothy opens
the door into Oz and everything becomes color, and Us And Them plays
while the Munchkins and Glenda celebrate Dorothy's arrival. Any
Colour You Like has Dorothy coming upon the Scarecrow, and Brian
Damage accompanies the two as they find the Tin Man. Finally, Eclipse
plays and closes the album with the heartbeat as Dorothy pounds on the
Tin Man's chest.

If you've not tried it, it is pretty cool. Even my kids (who do not
indulge) thought it was cool...but I don't know what to do to complete
the film. This is as far as the album goes. So, what do I do next?
Start the album again? I never found out what was supposed to happen
next. If any of you have tried this, and know what to do, please let
me know...and pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.
