I think someone commented on Peter and Gordon covering Del's "I Fall To Pieces"? This got me to thinking about Del Shannon. I have a copy of the album "Home and Away" recorded with Andrew Loog Oldman in 1967. It was to be the UK Pet Sounds (it's not!) but was never released by the record company (Liberty I think). It was finally released here in the UK around 2006 I think. It's pretty good and an interesting piece of rock mystery. I'm happy to send out copies if anyone might be interested.
