Old rock films are as "good" as some old sci-fi films. I own both *Don't
Knock the Rock* and* Rock, Rock, Rock*. Both star former Cleveland DJ Alan
Freed. I own a bunch from the genre...*Mr. Rock and Roll* (Alan Freed), *Go
Johnny Go* (Alan Freed), *Carnival Rock* (a Roger Corman cheapie, worst of
the bunch), *Girls Town* (great(!), *The Girl Can't Help It* (best of the
bunch w/Jayne Mansfield), *Rock, Baby, Rock It* (Tuesday Weld...woof), and
one of my favorites, *Bop Girl Goes Calypso* from 1957 (about
rock'n'roll being replaced by the new calypso craze!). Really keen,
daddy-o!!
