Some of you may notice that I've been spelling Buddy Holly's name two
different ways - Holley and Holly.  Holley is his given name.  When he
signed with Decca in February 1956, they misspelled his name as Holly
on the contract.  It was shortly after that that Buddy adopted the
misspelling as his stage name.  That's the reason for the different
spellings - I use Holley for pre-February 1956 entries, and Holly for
dates after that.  Just so you know that I know what the hell I'm
doing, and I'm not crazy.
