1969 – Jim Morrison and flight companion, actor Tom Baker, are
arrested by the FBI for drunk and disorderly behavior and interfering
with the flight of an aircraft in Phoenix, after a flight attendant
accuses them of attacking and sexually harassing her. Morrison and
Baker spend the night in jail.
1970 – Ringo Starr and wife Maureen welcome the birth of their third
child and first daughter, Lee.

1970 – The Elvis Presley tour documentary, That’s The Way It Is, opens

2003 – The funeral for Righteous Brother Bobby Hatfield is held at the
Saddleback Church in Lake Forest. Singing partner Bill Medley performs
the gospel standard "Precious Lord."
2004 – Bodyguard/chauffer for Liza Minelli, M'hammed Soumayah, 56,
sues the singer for $100 million for beating him during drunken
tirades and forcing him to have sex with her or be fired.
2004 – Coldplay fan Sarah Sainsbury writes to the band asking for
their autographs so she can sell them to raise funds for her school
charity. Coldplay sends her an autographed triple platinum disc of
their album A Rush Of Blood To The Head, which fetches over £4,000.
2009 – Jo Wood’s divorce from guitarist Ron Wood becomes final.
