This is purely my opinion, but I'm not sure that the whole "We are raising
funds to release this film" thing is on the up and up.

I went to a showing of this last year to:

#1 see it on the big screen (after having watched the superb video that was
thrust into my hands)
and
#2 have a chance to meet Hal Blaine and Don Randi

The evening was great, but I get the sense that Danny T is milking this for
everything that it's worth. He does numerous events all over the country
and peppers each with auctions, merchandise sales and a price tag affixed
to everything.

I just felt a bit like I needed a shower after meeting him, ya know?

Carol is featured in a very positive light in the film, but now radicaly
opposes it's existance, claiming that promises and guarantees were broken.
Her view is backed up by Earl Palmer and a few others who participated.
However, Carol has her own issues with rewritten history...

There is just something a bit shady about it all...

However, the film is excellent and I did get a chance to meet Hal and Don.
Both were super cool and Hal is a riot. He's like that crazy old uncle at
the wedding with no filter on what he says or does anymore. I have a signed
drum head hanging on the wall next to my 'puter.

That's my $.02....
