Brilliant keyboardist. The Doors' sound WAS Manzarek's organ. His solo on "Break on Through" sold m on the band when I first heard it. Jim Morrison would have been just another obscure stoner poet or possibly a screaming drugged-out crazy standing on a corner if Manzarek hadn't recruited him into the band.
