I'm certainly not saying the Fabs aren't important musically...only that I really don't pay attention to "new" Beatle product, anymore....because it isn't new. All it is is a way to resell the same old crap to a new generation. The people that currently own this music (Sony at this point?) care more about the money, IMHO, than they do about the music, and I'm not making them a dime richer!!
I'm not sure stack'o'tracks Beatles would sell, anyway....simply because George Martin isn't as clever as Brian Wilson in the studio, and doesn't share the reputation. And do the Beatles really have enough total "harmony" songs to warrant a vocals only project? Just more product, a way to generate more money, with essentially, no new (certainly minimal at any rate) costs. I bought, and still own, most of the Beatles books from 1975 to maybe 1982? A quick count I just did was 32 different books. I'm not buying another. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Diamond Headz" group.
