t, the whole Jimmy Savile affair has opened ahuge can of worms in respect of behaviour in the 60s/70s. There has been a whole load of celebs, radio DJs, musicians charged or suspected over the past year or so. Given how things were during that era and what was tolerated or at best not commented on, there must be quite a few people shaking in their boots. There has been claims of police cover up/conspiring with those accused during that time and poor investigating, everybody's dodging and diving to avoid blame then and particularly now. I think the majority see this as a chance for vulnearble people to get justice and closure, others see it as reaching witch hunt proportions. We do have a statute of limitations that changes in length depending on crime however according to wiki "Unlike other European countries the UK has no statute of limitations applying to serious sexual crimes"! According to some people I know rumour is rife that the have their eyes on a bigger name(s), could be a stairway to hell?
