It's not the putting of them in a box...it's the moving them around (and furniture) so it all fits & will be easiest to expedite the move. Empty the bedroom closet, but refill it with loaded boxes (clothes, records, books, Cd's, stuff). I've already filled 50+ boxes. I swear to God, I'm sore in the AM when I get up!
I've let go a bunch of punk posters (classic SST Label stuff - Black Flag, Husker Du, Minutemen, etc., and got a good deal, too), some rock periodicals dating back to the 1971 (didn't toss 'em, found them a good home with a younger collector (and record store owner) I know....who was born the year they came out!!). I'm afraid it'll be a virtual party....after all, you're all virtual friends....you could all possibly be a 13 year old girl fukking with my head, for all I know.
