The CRTC announced this morning that my application has been denied. They felt that I would put the existing radio station in the area at risk financially both in the short and in the medium term. So...I'm pretty much done...at least when it comes to ever owning a traditional radio station. To say that I'm disappointed would certainly be an understatement but I respect this decision and will instead move forward with a different plan in the immediate future. Whether or not I ever host another radio show remains entirely shrouded in grey. There are words to describe my gut reaction to this negative outcome but why bother typing them? We'll save all of those 4 letter words for describing governments, the babylon system and much of what appears on top 40 charts here, there and everywhere. Let it suffice to say that life is INDEED a pisser.
