Chapman will (which I can't imagine actually happening, considering the 
magnitude of his crime). 

But Charlie doesn't want out. He is "institutionalized" and he knows it. If 
I recall correctly, Charlie had already lived virtually half his life in 
jail....BEFORE the Tate-LaBianca murders.
