A shame to let it go as it truly conjures up memories of its founder...the man who brought us all together...the dearly departed Michael Lenz. Still t... If it's primarily just going to be the two of us.... blowing the dust off the furniture every few days...then...what's the point? This site was an oasis. Here we could have a ball posting the latest on Dick Dale, Dick Clark, the various 'dicks' posting stupid SHIT at the blooey and also discuss serious stuff.which ventured beyond the boundaries of any given Beach. Many of these BB related message boards have ground to a halt...or close enough that it's an exercise in frustration if not futility. I posted something about NOT hating Mike Love on Pat's fanclub site 2 months ago. There hasn't been a post there since. Even the once powerful BBB goes through days where there isn't a single post. After ALL of her hard work...doesn't Val deserve better? Due primarily to technical fuck-ups Susan's great Shut Down 2 site...in fact shut down. Then there are the others...gone and almost forgotten. That we still have action on the Blueboard and the ungoing action at Smiley Smile is, I guess, all that's necessary. Others are just tweetin' or twittering or facebookin' or just gone period.
