I could claim to have roadied for Spandau Ballet, sung live on stage with Joe Walsh, and partied with Eddie Vedder at a bar across the street in my old neighborhood....and 2 out of three stories are 100% true. But the more detail I supply, the less impressive the headline becomes (Eddie actually was there, but I didn't find out until the following day), so I won't bother.
I'm planning on leaving Debbie VW alone, but she sets off my finely tuned Bullshit Meter (I'll adjust it). She answered my question to Ang, about the recent interview, and thought for some reason that she had to tell me she was "there", back in the day. Now what this had to do with Ang's nitpicking is still a mystery to me, hence my reaction. As you know, I'm no Love lover....but if Brian had said that Mike was "on his own recognizance" and not vice versa, NOBODY would have thought a thing about it. It's the lynch mob mentality that bothers me.
