I have a Power Computing Power Base 180. Just starting to play with computers. Have modem and software trying to get on internet. Instructions say to put files in modem scripts file or extensions. I couldn't find any modem script file so put them in extensions. tried to open a file and popup says can't read, need open transport. First question, could someone send me floppy or disc, for a fee, to download open transport, or could pick up if not to far. I live in Genesee Country area. Next question. Instructions say to go to control panel and open remote access setup. I can't find any such animal. Any help here?
Nuther question, instructions say I need, for one example, PPP setup. Do I have to download this also? Any help would be apreciated, as I said earlier, don't know much about computers.
