Hi,
I got MICO 2.3.11 to compile on my Solaris9 platform, thanks to the help of
this list, especially Karel Gardas. Thanks again.

But I've now realised I built it without threads. Now that I'm trying to
compile it with threads enabled, I'm getting symbol
referencing errors. Here is an example:

/opt/studio9/SUNWspro/bin/CC -I. -I../idl -I../include -O2
-L/opt/studio9/SUNWspro/lib -pto -D_THREAD_SAFE -D_REENTRANT
ir_skel.o ir_impl.o -L. -L../idl -L../orb \
-lmico2.3.11 -ldl -lelf -lsocket -lnsl -lm -lpthread -lthread
Undefined first referenced
 symbol in file
main /opt/studio9/SUNWspro/prod/lib/crt1.o
sem_destroy ../orb/libmico2.3.11.so
sem_init ../orb/libmico2.3.11.so
sem_post ../orb/libmico2.3.11.so
sem_wait ../orb/libmico2.3.11.so
ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to a.out
gmake[1]: [libmicoir2.3.11.a] Error 1 (ignored)

My configure command line was:
CXX=/opt/studio9/SUNWspro/bin/CC ./configure --prefix=/opt/mico --enable-threads

I tried adding -lposix4 to SHLIBS in the MakeVars, but this didn't help. What
else can I do? Thanks
