Hi,

i am new to CORBA / MICO and tried to use the Naming Service example from
./demo/services/naming.
So i started nsd like this:

> nsd -ORBNoResolve -ORBDebug All -ORBIIOPAddr inet:127.0.0.1:12456
IIOP: server listening on inet:127.0.0.1:12456 IIOP version 1.0
binding to inet:127.0.0.1:12456
void_array::__fast_insert (0x1001410b0):    return 0

The the server example:
> ./server  -ORBInitRef NameService=corbaloc::127.0.0.1:12456
uncaught MICO exception: IDL:omg.org/CORBA/OBJECT_NOT_EXIST:1.0 (0,
not-completed)
Abort (core dumped)

The exception happens here in the server.cc:

        CosNaming::NamingContext_var nc =  CosNaming::NamingContext::_narrow
(nsobj);

During this the nsd logs:

MICO::IIOPServer::callback: tserv = 0x1001410b0, ev =0
