ok i tryied it, out of the box isn't recognised, it just finds a: "videodev" "sn9c102" (but my webcam is snc105r) strangely the webcam is active (the led is always on, like it's always recording) following the gspcav2 compatibility list, i have to load the sonixj module with my webcam i probe it, and it gets loaded (lsmod, it adds gspcav_sonixj & gspcav_main) but it isn't recognised by softwares (i have installed both v4l and v4l2) if i reboot, module doesn't get loaded what do you think can be the problem? probably i have to unload that sn9c102 module and get loaded just the sonixj? i'm using online-updated opensuse 11.1 beta5 with 2.27.5 kernel On 15 Nov, 12:45, GWater <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:Personal sun sounds nice but may actually be unnecessary. When I say out-of-the-box I mean it. No need for GSPCAv1 because kernel 2.6.27 contains GSPCAv2. Just try it, ok? GWater CaFFeiNe666 schrieb:out of the box with gspca1 module? cause i tryied every way with that, but i think that the only solution would be to have a PERSONAL SUN in my room :) cause it has problems with the auto exposure but if i deactivate it by echoing driver parameters it just becames dark, i think that probably your drivers being more specific for thos chips would be much better... but i think i'll wait for new kernel and new opensuse upgrade to 11.1 with new kernel :) On 15 Nov, 10:50, GWater <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:The new kernel 2.6.27 should contain out-of-the-box support for your webcam.
