+ more supported webcams - some of them haven't been tested yet and may need fixing + at least this way they get tested
+ better performance through libv4l usage - people need to install and learn about libv4l + it seems people understand our README now + less bandwidth necessary with JPEG compression - JPEG sometimes flickers - currently compression is hardcoded + better structured code + smaller kernel module I think think the pros outweigh the cons in quantity and quality.
